ESPN’s Jordan Docuseries “The Last Dance” Premieres This Weekend

Updated: Jul 31, 2020

Netflix's Tiger King has been the winner of content streaming wars since this nationwide lockdown began not only being the streaming services daily champion but also plenty of social media content to go along. That all may change this Sunday, April 19th as ESPN premiers the 10 part docuseries "The Last Dance" chronicling one of the most iconic sports figures of modern times, Michael Jordan and his 1998 Chicago Bulls run at another 3-peat of NBA Championships. With the NBA shut down (along with everything else) last month right when the playoff push was about to get hot the series comes right on time. At the time, understanding how special Michael and that team was in sports and overall world culture access was granted to film this final season. This is going to be a fire series with a look at Jordan and the Bulls through a lense we have never seen. Watch the exclusive trailer below and look at the iconic figures interviewed including Jordan himself, Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman, Pat Riley, Charles Barkley, Dikembe Mutombo, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Gary Payton, Adam Silver, Bob Costas, Barack Obama, Justin Timberlake, and more. And that moment when you see Kobe sit down? My heart dropped. Watch the exclusive extended trailer below as well as an interview by Robin Roberts featuring Michael Jordan.
